From Rams-Seahawks, I give you absolute punter porn.

As a University of Iowa fan I've seen a lot of punter porn on Saturdays.

As a Seahawks fan ... those extra yards made a difference, as the game winning field goal attempt was from 61 yards out.

In no way did Seattle deserve to win anyway. The offense and Darnold in particular were awful.

Lions receivers didn’t do Goff any favors on that last drive. Two balls looked like they should’ve been caught for first downs.

And I see the ****ing Cowboys have another prime time game tomorrow. I know, I know, they bring eyeballs. I get it. But I can still irrationally hate it.
And they're playing the Raiders in a game that should've been either moved to Mexico City or Tuesday afternoon.

There are reports that Aaron Rodgers suffered a fracture in his left wrist before halftime yesterday. I'm assuming they know it is broken, but want to find out just how bad things are with further testing today. Rodgers fell on it just before halftime, stayed in for one more play, then didn't come back out of the locker room for the second half.

On the positive side, the offense actually looked a hell of a lot better without Rodgers in the second half. He played horribly, pretty much costing the Steelers any chance they had against the Chargers, and wasn't much better in the first half against the Bengals.

The downside is the alternative is Mason Rudolph. He is a career backup for a reason. He has had put up good numbers against bad teams on occasion, but the Steelers don't have many games like that coming up. They play the Bears, Bills, and Ravens in their next three. Yikes.

Week 11 and 11 teams all but officially cut from the playoffs. They may not be eliminated, but you can Cross Them Off.
Jets, Dolphins, Browns, Bengals, Titans, Raiders, Giants, Commanders, Saints, Cardinals and our newest member - the Falcons.

On deck: Cowboys and Vikings.
Vikings are going to need to go 6-1 down the stretch to get in, and their next two are Green Bay and Seattle on the road. Not happening. Cross them off.

Cowboys probably have to go 7-1. After tonight, the next two are the Eagles and Chiefs, followed by at Detroit. Cross them off.

You're down to nine teams for seven spots, realistically, in the NFC. That Carolina-San Fran game next week on MNF is essentially a playoff game for the Panthers. We'll know in the next two weeks if they have a shot, they get the Rams at home afterward.

It really was the difference in the game.
The Rams were badly leaking oil at the end of the game, and needed every inch of that punt. I firmly believe the Rams lose the game if that punt was a touchback.

Lost in people paying way too much attention to Shadeur Sanders was Myles Garrett getting four more sacks. He now has 10 in the last three games and 15 on the season with seven games remaining. He has a pretty good shot at the NFL records, 22.5, which is held by Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt.

The Eagles looked elite defensively last night, but damn did Goff look bad. I know he was under pretty constant pressure, but his decisions looked consistently bad, and even when he did have time, his happy feet were pretty evident.

I would have loved to see the little thought bubble over St. Brown's head after some of the misses Goff had in his direction.

Still wondering if Campbell's need to prove he's the most edgy coach in the NFL is going to keep costing them when it counts the most. When the prudent play is to punt, then ****ing punt and screw the "IT'S IN OUR DNA!" bull****.

Neither Campbell nor Sirianni seemed to recognize the game going on right in front of their faces. Both defenses were playing great and both offenses were in shambles. When that happens, punts become offensive plays, not give-ups.

T.J. Watt and Michael Strahan*.

Had no idea Garrett was on that kinda run. Impressive.

***** Brett Favre and the dive he took.

It's not easy to see, but it sure as hell seems like Ja'Marr Chase spit on Jalen Ramsey during yesterday's game, which led to Ramsey punching Chase and getting ejected.

This is a clearer look at the same video. This one is from the Fox affiliate in Cincinnati.

Get Up had the best look at it yet. No doubt Chase intentionally spit on Ramsey. The spitting incident starts around the 8:50 mark.

Yeah, I'm sure being an Iowa fan desensitizes you to this sort of thing. You'd probably have to watch this guy drop that same punt at the pylon, but by kicking it backward over his head from his own 10-yard line, with a vicious four-man rush bearing down on him to feel satisfied.

He’s gone from 40th to 24th on the all-time list since the start of the season

Shadeur's woes? I blame Trump [/crossthread] Is he more than a camp invitee without him?

He had a great PR guy in his dad. I saw no actual scouts or nfl people rating him. It was all talking heads and buddies of his dad during the winter. When the real people started to scout him, the story changed in the spring.

That being said, I thought sanders would be better than what he showed today. For all of his athletic flaws, he was a very polished Qb coming out of college. I figured that would buy him some time.

His “fans” delusions just make it worse.
I listened to about 5 minutes of Cleveland sports talk radio this morning. They were in full excuse mode, blaming everyone but Shedeur.
One guy even said, "He had zero problems getting them lined up."
Talk about a low bar.
What I saw was a guy who thinks he can outrun edge rushers like he did in college, holds the ball too long and can't hit a tight window.
