Jarred Allen claims he was robbed of a sack against the Green Bay Packers the year he had 22 sacks. Aaron Rodgers backed him up on this. He was initially credited with a sack on a play in which Rodgers dropped the ball, then fell on it.

I see two small problems with his theory. One, it comes off as kinda whiny. Two, T.J. Watt actually lost a sack the same way during his 22.5-sack season, so by Allen's logic, Watt would hold the all-time record all by himself.

Al Michaels to return to Prime Video for 2026

I have to admit when I'm wrong, which as anyone who has been here a long time knows very rarely happens. But Tirico being the absolute worst most vanilla NFL ass-kisser ever on SNF has reminded me how solid Michaels still is. He's a jerk and I still think he's probably wrung more out of one moment than anyone in human history. But he's been a fine listen on Amazon and I'd much rather hear him than Tirico. Shoutout to @poindexter here!!!!
