Also, the Bears absolutely need a win against the Lions to go 4-4 into their bye week and keep their playoff hopes alive.

The Bucs-Jaguars game has the potential to set offense back about five decades.

The keys for the Bears are to get pressure on Kitna (the pass rush has been awful for the last month) and force turnovers and for Brian Urlacher to show up for a change. You'd think it would be impossible for a 260-pound linebacker to disappear, but 54's vanished since making that big INT against the Packers.

I'll take the Rams as my upset pick.

No offense to you Doc, but I think The Lions will spring the upset on the Bears Sunday, even with their crappy pass defense.

Also, I'm looking for the Rams to get into the win column against the Browns, who haven't won consecutive games since 2003, if I recall correctly.

I guess that makes sense. I would have thought if the NFL didn't have a problem going head-to-head with Game 7 of the ALCS, it wouldn't think twice about going up against a World Series game.

Usually, the NFL tries to avoid going against the World Series. They knew there would be a Game 4 of the World Series. No one knew if there would be a Game 7 of a League Championship Series all those months ago.

That Monday night game is going to be a fun one to watch at the quarterback position with Jay Cutler and Brett Favre. There will be a lot of heaters being thrown in that game.

Actually, it's been going on since Week 1 when both teams started with blowouts. The saying goes, "Cheaters never win." I guess NE is proving that theory wrong, and ESPN has quickly put that behind them as far as covering the Patriots go.

This question should get a few responses around here: After five straight wins, with a defense that looks for real and one of the better young QBs in the league (hi, oop!), who here thinks the Giants are for real? Personally, if they keep playing well, I see no reason they can't win the NFC. The Cowboys don't seem to be head and shoulders better than the Giants right now.

I think the Giants' defense is for real. But as a team? I'm not sure. Who have they beaten?
