Holy moly, what a bull**** call. That was a fumble all day long, and even if it wasn't it's nice to know you can throw it at the back of the legs of an engaged blocker and it counts as being in the vicinity of a receiver.

The blocker was the running back and he did throw it. They got that call right, which is a change of pace from everything else this half.

Very late on this, but how was that not a fumble by Hurts on the tush push in Eagles-Giants? It was a fumble. What an awful call.

And feel bad for Cam Skattebo. What a gruesome injury.

I guess. Just would be nice if some sort of intent matters — like you have the receiver who has both hands occupied by blocking to at least be facing you to be an "intended receiver."

Besides that, my bigger issue is that the fumble was a bull**** call. Intentional or not, his arms were hogtied and he dropped that sumbitch. He just happened to do it with some force. Ridiculous.

He didn't drop it. He flicked it forward. They got the call right. Now missing the blatant off-sides, then missing Kraft pushing off on the 59-yard pass, those are calls that turned the game for the Packers. To be fair, the Steelers crumbled after that, but the Packers got a hell of a lot of help this half.
