NFL Week 5 Thread: Insert Cute Title Here

Alan Roach is the best. The Broncos haven't been the same since he left as their PA announcer.

And the Bears come all the way back from a 17-0 hole to lead the Raiders.

Apparently the Steelers had to carry Mason Rudolph off the field because the cart broke down.

And the Raiders are imploding in the process. Atrocious pitch for a lost fumble. Missed routes. Yelling at each other. It's fantastic!

We still have Roach for a lot here (Avalanche, Rapids, KOA spots, DIA greetings), but it's not the same without him at Mile High. Same when he was at Coors.

That didn't even look that bad on the replay. Not dirty or malicious, at the very least. It looked more like Rudolph just got sandwiched between the two defenders. When he was down I thought maybe we had a Drew Bledsoe type of chest injury.
In any event, seeing him walk off the field might be one of the best things we'll see today. The way he went down and everyone was reacting, I honestly thought he might be dead.

Are you kidding? Helmet nailed him right on the jaw.
He was out before he hit the turf.
Thomas should have been ejected for hitting high and with the helmet.

Glad he’s ok. Hodges looks ok. Of course his in the shotgun and backs up another 5 yards to throw.

There are as of now five winless teams in the NFL, the Jets, Dolphins, Redskins, Broncos and Bengals. The Pats have had three games against them out of their five wins. And they have three more games left with them, one with Cincy and rematches with the Jets and Dolphins. Now, all of them won't be winless all season long because they play each other too much, but my goodness, what a schedule for the league champions.

Rudolph jumped to throw the pass and his momentum carried him into Thomas' helmet. Thomas was jumping to try and knock down the pass and even aborted it a little and turned to the side when he saw the ball gone. Maybe a flag was warranted because of the way the rules are set up, but screaming for an ejection is a stretch.
Going all Zapruder Film on the replay, Thomas got him a little squarer on the jaw than I first thought. But I don't think it was a dirty play at all. Just an unfortunate one.

It was a bad day for the refs in Pittsburgh. A lot missed both ways.

I doubt it was intentional, But you have to throw a flag when the quarterback momentarily goes brain dead.

And Tomlin without question, made the correct decision to kick that ball away to start overtime. Juju hold onto that ball and it’s game over. His defense was the better side of the ball all day, that’s who you put the weight on to win the game.

And once again, anyone who is a back up for Tomlin, goes into the game and produces. That is a very underrated part of his coaching resume.

Pack up 14-0 and driving.
Jerruh just whistled for Stephen to get him another JW Blue with no junk in it.

CBS didn't have a true national game today -- it had six in the early window that were split regionally -- but it still seems weird that they have Nantz and Romo calling the Broncos-Chargers game that only about a third of the country is seeing. Figured they'd have sent them to London or had them on Pats-Redskins.
