How many here would actually watch an NFL game without betting on it?

First year of not playing fantasy in about two decades and I think I watched more Red Zone channel this year than all the years I played.

Bob Labriola, who is the editor for the Steelers' website, is now trying to take the blame for defensive coordinator Keith Butler saying in an interview this week that Tyler Eifert could create problems for the Steelers' defense this weekend even though Eifert is on IR and hasn't played since September. Butler made the comment in Labriola's weekly "Coordinators' Corner" on Steelers.com, but it has since been taken down. Labriola Tweeted that he is taking responsibility for the mistake, calling it a "sloppy interview."

Labriola has been covering the Steelers since the '80s in one capacity or another. I do have to wonder if he really screwed up that badly or if he's covering for Butler at the team's direction. Either is possible, but obviously it's just another embarrassment for the Steelers if Butler did screw that up.

Butler is gonna be out of a job five minutes after their season ends, which should be about 730 pm ET tomorrow.

Butler should have been out of a job a year ago. The decision to push **** LeBeau out early to give him the job has turned out to be a disaster. I just hope the Steelers are finally ready to move on from him now.

Edit: I just heard the audio from the interview. It was Bob Labriola who kept bringing up Tyler Eifert's name, but Butler responded by praising Eifert by name and saying that he will be tough for the Steelers to cover Sunday.

Labriola and Butler both sound like idiots in the interview, but only Butler has played a major role in the Steelers' downfall this season. There is plenty of blame to go around for the team's current situation, but a huge part of it is on Butler.

Hopefully far more than the ones that need to have money on the game.

I’ve never had the desire to gamble. I’ll play fantasy, but I don’t watch the games around my players.

At least there is some drama on who is actually going to play in the championship game in the NFL. We've known since the first kick this year that Alabama and Clemson were making it to the college championship.

No one can possibly watch all the college games, so there's no doubt I missed some great ones along the way, but I saw three really good NFL games for every good college game I saw this season to date.

With Elliott and Gurley sitting out the finale, Barkley trails Elliott by 236 yards for the NFL rushing title.

What would the Dallas locker room be like if the Cowboys defense lets Barkley gash them for 237+ yards and Zeke loses the title?

Didn’t Flutie drop-kick a PAT at the end of his career?

He did. I believe that was his final play, but I don't think that touchdown was scored on a pass by Flutie.

Edit: I checked. Flutie didn't throw a touchdown pass that season. Matt Cassel threw the touchdown that lead to Flutie's drop-kick PAT.

The Jacksonville Jaguars of 2018 are remarkably similar to the Jacksonville Jaguars of 2011-16.

Antonio Brown is inactive for the Steelers. That's gonna hurt a bit.
