I don't think the Steelers should be double-digit favorites over anybody right now, even the Raiders. James Conner was ruled out for the game Tuesday and there isn't much behind him, so they don't have the means to take advantage of Oakland's crappy run defense.

On a more positive note, Ryan Shazier has progressed from walking without assistance to jogging.

I thought the Steelers opened as 11-point favorites over the Raiders and it dropped to 10.5. I thought it would go down more once Conner was ruled out.

Is that really a thing in the United States in 2018? A guy with relatively infinite resources to spend on health care breaks his leg and it results in amputation?

I think there was real fear with the Bears' Zach Miller last year when he broke his that it might happen. I don't think with modern medicine that it would come to that, but who knows.
