The Jags showed some '76er tanking last night. I used to think/hear that NFL teams won't tank, too many jobs on the line, no guaranteed contracts. I drank that kool-aid until seeing flag football tackling last night by the Jags.

So the players collectively go together and decided to lose? Interesting.

I have to agree with JC on this one. (Pardon me while I swallow the bile rising in my throat at that thought.)

It is certainly possible that a coaching staff might tank an NFL game by sitting certain players, by the way they substitute and the plays they call, but I can't see players doing that. The ugly tackling was more likely the result of a team that has lost its discipline and focus because the season has gone to ****.
