You guys are hating on Vick too much. The guy needs some receivers to throw to. They need to use him in more bootlegs as well. Now a guy who I think is a "tad" overrated is Ben Roethlisberger. Whenever he throws over 20 attempts in game, the Steelers are pretty much screwed. But he's got talent around him. He had Hines Ward, Randle El, Willie Parker, Bettis, and a great defense last year. The year before, he was throwing to Hines Ward and Plaxico Burress. If that offense can make Charlie Batch look great, then it can make anyone look great.

Falcons have three first-round picks at wideout and Pro Bowlers in Alge Crumpler and Warrick Dunn, who's dangerous out of the backfield. Just saying.

Just because they're first round picks, dosn't make them good. Just look at the Lions.

Just because they're quality, talented players with a history of success doesn't qualify them to carry Moses Vick across the River Jordan into the Promised Land

Rex Grossman just threw his third touchdown to help make it 41-0 only 10 seconds before halftime. Grossman is 18 for 22 already for 202 yards and those three scores.

I knew the Bears would want to make a point after the Cardinals' meltdown, but this is pathetic.

You can't put down Reggie Bush like that. Running Backs need more then just 10 carries a game. He's only had two games in which he carried for over 11 carries and in both of those games, he actually did pretty good(15 carries/67 yards, 13 carries 53 yards).

Also, re: Steelers quarterbacks, Maddux had one decent season, then reverted back to his normal XFL self with Ward, Burress, Bettis, etc. around him. You can't tell me that Ben's success is all based on the people around him when the guy before him failed with the same talent, prompting them to draft Ben in the first place.

I still think the only reason I appreciate what Roethlisberger did last year is because I watched every game. That's how you see how many times he got them the lead by throwing, then did nothing in stat-padding time because all the Steelers do with the lead is run.

When he sucked in the Steelers' three-game losing streak, their offense sucked. He started playing well the last two weeks and suddenly they have put 83 points on the scoreboard in two games.

Yes, Charlie Batch threw two touchdown passes last week. He also missed four open receivers, usually because he wouldn't step into a throw under pressure.

Too bad the erratic running game, crappy secondary and early-season missed opportunities are going to keep the Steelers out of the playoffs anyway.

I've come to wonder if Reid is overrated as a coach. His record in one-possession games is under .500, which calls into question his skills as a tactician.
