My guess? OBJ saw he wasn't going to make bank from any team so he figured he might as well go to a contender with decent weather and a good QB. The Rams can probably cut him without serious penalty if "issues" rise up again.

It’s halfway through the year with a 1 year contract at 1.5 mill. What consequences could there possibly be?

I just don't think the Rams will have much patience for drama at this point. Unless he starts producing. Over/under for Beckham receptions on his first game? Six? Four?

I just think he wanted to be in L.A.

He was never a troublemaker in Cleveland, but it was also pretty clear he didn't want to be there.

Rams aren’t a contender?
They are.
Just like the team he left.
And now that he's gone they have their winning environment back.

OBJ is like the killer nanny in a Lifetime movie of the week. He seems too good to be true when you meet him, and then slowly you begin to realize there is a problem until one morning he's waiting for you in the kitchen with a butcher knife.

Or Pittsburgh could beat a winless team and be tied for first in their division and possibly tied for the best record in their conference by Tuesday.

At the current pace, any AFC team at or above .500 who could somehow wangle a two-week bye could return to action with the best record in the conference.

Yep. Time to start dropping some $1 bets on DK for the conf champ and SB champ.

The Lions last won in Pittsburgh on Nov. 13, 1955
The last time the Lions beat the Steelers this happened

I believe the Lions have never won a road game against the Skins/Football Team in Washington. The last road victory for the Lions in that series was while the Skins were in Boston back in 1937.

That is "Lionesque"...

They also went almost 70 years without winning at Washington (1935-2007).

Meanwhile, Lions at Steelers also gave us this awesome hit in 1995. Without a doubt one of the hardest hits I've ever seen, and totally clean. Seeing the end zone angle, I think I now know what it looks like when someone gets hit by a truck.
I also love the collective groan from the entire stadium when they showed the replay.

Skins beat Lions at Fed Ex Field in 2007 by a score of 34-3...

2013: Detroit 27, Washington 20 at FedEx Field. Skins went 3-13 that year but lost seven games by a TD or less.

The Cleveland Browns have their winning environment back now?

The Cleveland Browns?

Winning environment? It's back?
