Sports Journalists Forum – Media, Newsroom & Reporting Talk

I think the worry with him is that he averaged around a drop per game last season, most in the league, and he is off to that pace this season. Maybe it's the switch in QB's, maybe not, but since it has carried over into this season, it has to be a concern. Don't watch enough Browns games, thank god, to know about the route running.

Did Coles run ****ty routes and drop too many passes, too? Hell, if that's what the Jets think they need, the Steelers would have probably given them Limas Sweed a lot cheaper. He pretty much does the same ****, minus the bitching to the media and punching people.

That's why they got Braylon - he's a complete player.

"I only wish these two teams played again this year so we could have a chance to fix our mistake," Doria added.

This is their finest recent sports article, though.

I have nowhere else to put this useless piece of information.

I met Phyllis George's daughter at a party last night. Hot as balls.

That is the very one, although I've never watched that channel.

Bimbo or no? It was clear the day she was hired she only got the job because of her looks. But does she have any substance?

We didn't discuss any current events. She seemed like a nice person, graduated from UNC.

Have NFL Countdown on in the background as I take care of duties around the apartment. I look up to see a birthday cake for #4 VikingsQB with people singing 'happy birthday' in a somewhat creepy, not quite off-tune but weird way.
And they made a card too. Great. Wonder if Gruden and Berman jizzed in the cake batter because they couldn't contain their excitement.

The rookie didn't look that bad last week. Thought he did well. He is going to be their guy, something the Lions haven't had in a while.

The TV color guy, I forget who, keep talking about him throwing a "flat" ball, but he gets it there.

I still don't understand what point he was trying to make about the "flat ball."
