I do wonder what is next for him. Do I see him taking Matt Ryan's place on NFL Today? No.

What would be fun would be a YouTube pre-game show, something like The View (which really is what most NFL pre-game shows are anyway), but the players would be of different generations and would be free to make full use of all the words. I just don't think he's viewed as a "winner" as much as he is viewed as a pain in the ass.

Justin Herbert is watching this and saying, "Damn, this ****er sucks in the playoffs."
Best stay with saw on the socials tonight: Justin Herbert and Jauan Jennings have the same number of passing touchdowns at 2. And that’s over three games for Herbert and four games for Jennings.

Rodgers must really be a PITA because he still throws a nice ball, short or deep and has a little mobility. If he had a decent OL and receivers, say Minn or Atl or even say MIA, he could probably still win. With Pitt, it was just 2 yd outs.

Of course, I'm happy to see him go off and do Dancing with the Stars or Survivor now.

I wouldn't rule out The NFL Today now that CBS is owned by Dear Leader. Rodgers could have a 20-minute segment each week with that CBS Evening News clown and Bari Weiss in which they discuss the real issues the mainstream media won't touch.

But seriously (or maybe that is his spot), he's such a pain in the ass that I can't see him landing anywhere other than Outkick or McAfee. Incredible this guy was well-liked enough to do Jeopardy! and now he's (hopefully) toxic.

Hasn't he said that when he retires he'll probably disappear for a few years?

Stroud was soooooo bad, and Ryan Clark at halftime (I rarely watch those things) was dead on, he looked skittish and totally uncomfortable in the pocket. Aikman was on that as well.

(Damn there are miles of difference between Aikman and Romo and/or Brady right?)

That HOU pass rush is awesome, I know the Broncos got more sacks but I'm thinking HOU is the best in the league.

If you ever want to see a team quit, just watch that last TD run by HOU. Pitiful effort by the Steelers.
If it had been mandated that this playoff game should last 24 hours, the Steelers still would not have scored a touchdown. Houston’s defense against the Steelers offense was a complete mismatch.

Pats-Bills part 3 incoming. Drake Maye can move around a bit and counter Houston's defensive speed. I have no confidence Stroud can do enough to win in Foxborough.

Rams-Seahawks part 3 incoming. Magic runs out for the Niners (just too banged up) and the Bears (can't possibly win again that way).

I think it may be Seahawks-Bears. Rams have been playing with fire for a while now, I think the cardiac Bears get them. The Rams defense has not held up but they have a great offense that can out score people. Seattle made them pay defensively. Carolina did earlier this year. Atlanta got ‘em. They needed every bit of 41 against the Lions.

I think Seattle at home KOs the Bears and then easily handles who ever comes out of the AFC.

That’s nice and all but I won’t be able to sleep until I know the announcers. And the refs.

I'm glad you asked.

Bills at Broncos: Nantz and Romo. Referee is Carl Cheffers
49ers at Seahawks: Burkhards and Brady. Referee is John Hussey
Texans at Patriots: Buck and Aikman. Referee is Shawn Smith
Rams at Bears: Tirico and Collinsworth. Referee is Shawn Hochuli

If tradition holds, one of those referees will be on the field in Santa Clara on Feb. 8.

HEY @poindexter YOU ****ER HERE'S THE SCHEDULE NEXT WEEK:

SATURDAY
Bills at Broncos, 4:30 CBS
49ers at Seahawks, 8 Fox

SUNDAY
Texans at Patriots, 3 ESPN
Rams at Bears, 6:30 NBC

Listen, all you ****ing autistic bastards. The instrument hasn't been invented that can register how little I give a **** about the time slot. I love the NFL, unlike a lot of you here. I already carved out space for next weekend to watch all four games. I don't give a rat's ass whether the Rams are the first game on Saturday or the last game on Sunday. I am going to watch all four, regardless of time or announcer. Or referee crews.

Pittsburgh certainly didn’t deserve that game, but on the fumble return TD how was that hit to Rodgers’ helmet not a penalty?
Herbert got clobbered in the head/facemasked on Sunday, nary a flag.
A few years ago, the football equivalent of a feather could dust Tom Brady's helmet, and it was a flag.
