Serious question here. Do you buy into the notion that some opponents have been too intimidated by New England's talent and lost some aggressiveness against the Patriots?

That happened in '85 with the Bears; once the team got rolling, most of the games were over before they started. Of course, they hit a bump in the road playing away from home in a superhyped game against a talented QB in his prime. Maybe history repeats itself today.

If they have the chance, I could see the Patriots scoring in the 60s just to stick to a Colts team that has beaten the Patriots three times in a row. Belichek is crazy right now and I am enjoying it, so, while I like the Colts, it would amuse me to see the Patriots drop 60+ on them.

I'm just the opposite, it would amuse me to see the Colts to drop 60-plus points on the Patriots.

I can understand that, but I just think it is funny that someone is running up the score in a professional sports league and a bunch of people are acting like it is a travesty. Those defenders are getting paid millions of dollars, if they have a problem with the Patriots ripping them a new asshole, then they should do something about it.

It's the refrain we hear here a lot.

Of course you CAN do it. Doesn't mean it is sportsmanlike. You even know what the word means?

Again, I would give big cash money to see Brady's leg amputated while Belichick tries this crap. THEN, let's see how smug that asshole is in the presser.

How many of us think the Colts will win today? It's not like the Colts have sucked this year. In fact, they too are better than they were last year. The Pats are juggernauts, yes, but I'm taking the Colts in a close one today since all the talk has been about how great the Pats are. They're gonna **** up the story lines.

They're the undefeated defending champs playing at home, where they haven't lost in forever. If ever there was a week for the 'no respect' motivation card to be played, this was it. Of course, I don't think Dungy's the kind of person to whip up that kind of frenzy within his team. Hopefully, the players took care of it and will be looking to make a statement.

The TV I have here in my living room is on its very last legs. Seriously, I'm waiting for the day after Thanksgiving so I can go buy a new one and hoping, hard, that this one lasts until then. But if there was ever an afternoon where my TV would want to just blow out and die for good, this is it. The two games I get to pick from are, naturally, the Deadskins vs the Jets. So I click on over to CBS figuring there's a decent game to warm up everyone for the main event, and instead I get the Bengals and the Bills going at it. Wow.

I know they have Thomas Jones, but how long until they start giving him more carries.

They just landed Jones, so it might be another year or two to see if he pans out. But Washington is their key guy on returns this year, while Justin Miller is out. My guess is Washington, if he's still with the Jets, takes over sometime next season.
