Still almost surely gonna have Vegas and Cleveland, along with possibly Arizona, Tampa, the Jets and Miami (rough order of likelihood) as well as maybe the Giants and/or Titans saying they're not hiring the interims. Plus as you noted, maybe Baltimore or Pittsburgh in the coming days. And then maybe the winner of tonight's game plus the Bills if they lose wild card weekend.

I was thinking about a potential college coach getting one of the jobs, I just don't see any of the top coaches getting more money and a longer contract from an NFL team. How many pro teams have a coach making $13m plus with five or more years left on the deal?

The only college coach I could see making a leap is Marcus Freeman. Cignetti is 64 and is set for life at IU, no idea why he would jump.

I could see Jedd Fisch. He turns 50 this spring so right in the sweet spot of experience vs. youth. Has spent extensive time as an NFL assistant, including time in the houses of McVay and Bellichick. Successful in college but not so much so that his contract is in velvet handcuffs territory.

So what does a “President of Ops” add when you’ve already got a GM? If you need more oversight, doesn’t that mean the GM isn’t doing the job?

Some teams use a Football OPs President to differentiate from the Business Ops side. The Football Ops position is sometimes used when you put the GM and Coach on equal footing. Or the GM has had a good run and you don't want to lose him to another organization so you give him the bigger title.

A little surprised by Gannon - seems the consensus was that he would stay and be forced to make some significant staff changes.

Gotta think this also means Kyler Murray is gone. Not realistic to force him on the new staff.
