Most do.Totally forgot the Titans
He should gone for it, but it was a too many men penalty, so it would have been 4th down and not 1st.It had to happen. I watched yesterday’s game. What a mess, from declining a penalty that would have give you first and goal at the 1 to having your 80-year-old back-up QB flinging the ball around with a 10-point lead.
OK, at least that makes a little more sense. I wasn’t even drinking! I think I just assume worst-case after a lifetime of Bears fandom. He should gone for it, but it was a too many men penalty, so it would have been 4th down and not 1st.
I doubt it helps that Daniel Jones is good now.Dabol might very well find success elsewhere, but I don't know. I guess you have to be fantastically talented to work with this team.
True, but if you take him back out of the nearly ideal circumstances he has with the Colts, I have no doubt the old Daniel Jones comes out. We saw that when the Steelers got in his face last week and he imploded to the tune of five turnovers.I doubt it helps that Daniel Jones is good now.
I think he is a very good offensive coordinator, but not a head coach.Dabol might very well find success elsewhere, but I don't know. I guess you have to be fantastically talented to work with this team.
Having Jonathan Taylor certainly helps.True, but if you take him back out of the nearly ideal circumstances he has with the Colts, I have no doubt the old Daniel Jones comes out. We saw that when the Steelers got in his face last week and he imploded to the tune of five turnovers.
Yes and no.True, but if you take him back out of the nearly ideal circumstances he has with the Colts, I have no doubt the old Daniel Jones comes out. We saw that when the Steelers got in his face last week and he imploded to the tune of five turnovers.
There were a lot of people here in Chicago who would have liked to get him last offseason and rumor was he wanted to come here.I really think Stefanski is underrated. Getting that team to the playoffs in 2020 and willing them to a playoff win from his basement was impressive. Haslam cut him off at the knees with the Watson trade. And my hot take of Mayfield turning out to be a better bet than Watson came true.
They didn't have the receivers or the offensive line he has in Indy.Yes and no.
Yes in that Jones has had a couple of shaky weeks.
No in that Jones' running back in the Meadowlands was Saquon Barkley.
If Jones continues on the trajectory that he has been on in Indy, the Giants are going to look really bad for letting both Jones and Barkley go. Was it Daboll's offense? Was he not able to adjust from Josh Allen in Buffalo to Jones in Jersey? Was it something else?
One name being mentioned (at least on sports talk radio) is Steve Spagnuolo, talk about someone who is better suited to a coordinator and shouldn't be near a HC position. Some are great position coaches or coordinators and can make the jump to HC. Others should stick with being great position coaches or coordinators.
I guess you don't know until you give it a whirl.
Warren, especially. He is everything I thought he would be watching him at Penn State. They didn't have the receivers or the offensive line he has in Indy.
