The “Kirk Cousins is not it” thing started well before Week 16.
Washington was seemingly so averse to the guy the franchise was willing to stake itself to Haskins instead.
They didn’t think he was worth a long term expensive deal given the mediocrity of the franchise and the biggest market advantage in the NFL is a middle-upper tier QB on a rookie deal.
