This isn't a coaching change, but Steelers' GM Kevin Colbert is reportedly stepping down after the 2022 Draft. Colbert has been in the job since 2000. Some versions of the report have him retiring. Colbert is 65 and he is a Pittsburgh native, but there have also been rumors that he might actually take another GM job. The Steelers are known for their stability at head coach, with only three of them since 1969, but Colbert has provided that in the front office for a long time.
The guess is that they will promote from within, either Brandon Hunt or Omar Khan. Khan is more of a cap guru, while Hunt is their scouting coordinator. The thinking is they wouldn't have Colbert running things through the draft if he wasn't working with the next GM already.
