How the hell do you end up a fan of the New York Yankees and Seattle Seahawks, anyway? Front-running baseball fan from Seattle?

How did I know this would come up?
Here it is in a nutshell.
My grandfather grew up in Eastern Washington prior to the Mariners existing and listened to the Yankees on the radio a lot. So, he became a Yankees fan.
My dad followed suit and was a big-time Yankees fan and even <b>named my brother after Mickey Mantle.</b> We children followed suit as we grew up in northern Idaho and Eastern Washington, rarely making trips to Seattle.
Eventually I moved to Seattle and had the joy of watching a bunch of crappy Yankees and Mariners teams square off in the Kingdome. I have always hated the Mariners, but never moreso than after sitting in the Kingdome when Edgar Martinez hit that *******, ****ing double and suddenly every ******* ****er in the greater Seattle area is a Mariners fan. ****that****.
Anyway, I have always been a Seahawks fan because my family never really cared about the NFL and I started actually paying attention very recently.
