Yes they did, and once there, they were the hottest team at the right time & champions by any definition. But they had no business being anywhere near the playoffs, but for the pitiful division the happen to play in. They got lucky, happens to someone most years. I think this year, Milwaukee gets lucky.

Dirt bike is in the probable mix, and I considered the Rob Deer cover, but I need to find an Easter Day Dale Sveum photo.

More than any of that though, I need to find more unintentionally humorous shots of Brewers fans -- perhaps even myself -- drunk at either the game, tailgating, etc.

It's too bad that '82 bar scene photo was way too big for my sig, that might be my favorite sig ever.

How did I know this would come up?
Here it is in a nutshell.
My grandfather grew up in Eastern Washington prior to the Mariners existing and listened to the Yankees on the radio a lot. So, he became a Yankees fan.
My dad followed suit and was a big-time Yankees fan and even named my brother after Mickey Mantle. We children followed suit as we grew up in northern Idaho and Eastern Washington, rarely making trips to Seattle.
Eventually I moved to Seattle and had the joy of watching a bunch of crappy Yankees and Mariners teams square off in the Kingdome. I have always hated the Mariners, but never moreso than after sitting in the Kingdome when Edgar Martinez hit that *******, ****ing double and suddenly every ******* ****er in the greater Seattle area is a Mariners fan. ****that****.
Anyway, I have always been a Seahawks fan because my family never really cared about the NFL and I started actually paying attention very recently.

Though I think Gordon has the better chance of living up to it.
