Time to start a new thread.

Will the Rams ever win? Not this week that's for sure. Will TO make nice? ... HA! And are the Redskins really that good or is it all just a mirage?

Re: NFL Week 5 Thread: McNabb's Gimpy Stomach Thread

Will it be Matt Flynn vs. Matt Ryan?

Re: NFL Week 5: McNabb's Gimpy Stomach Thread

Is it possible for a stomach to be gimpy?

I dunno, I was attempting to be funny. Guess I'm full of fail :D

Kinda off topic, but I saw that Travis Henry was arrested in a coke deal. Not the soda.

He was just trying to support his family.

That might explain why he was arrested at Tennessee for taking stereo equipment from somone else's dorm room.

'Skins are one of the biggest yo-yos in the league. One week, a world beater ... the next week, who knows?

About the Rams, Jim Haslett had the good sense to put Marc Bulger back at QB. That was the last of a rash of questionable moves - possibly the single worst - by Scott Linehan.

The Rams are a joke in this league right now because they can't seem to do anything right. Look at there ****ing O-line it's a joke compared to what we have seen in the past from them. AS for the Skins I think they can do some damage in the NFC this year. Because for one the Cowboys can not be trusted to do anything cause there not even the best team in there own division, and mind I add that the team destroyer is back in TO.

I think now that the Skins have some momentum, they'll be as good as anyone else. Which sucks. But Campbell is looking good, and he's getting lots of help from Santana Moss. Plus their defense is legit.

You MIGHT add those points, but to say the Cowboys aren't the best team in that divsion is a bit of a reach, and NO I'm not speaking as a looser fanboi. The NFC East is the toughest division in football. Any team can beat the other three at any time, but in terms of overall talent and ability, I say Dallas is the best in that divsion, but it's close. Skins certainly aren't as bad as they looked their first game, that's for certain.

I couldn't believe how good the 'Skins looked Sunday.

Like, Super Bowl good, albeit in a terrible conference.

Speaking as a fanboi looser this time:

I can't believe how BAD the Cowboys looked. Do I give the Skins credit for winning yeah. But do I blame Dallas for having an insanely ****ty gameplan on offense, you bet I do.

Emmitt Smith on ESPN radio ranked the NFL East as follows:
1. Giants
2. Redskins
3. Dallas - "because Westbrook is hurt."

Not saying I agree with him, but I thought it was funny.

Emmitt did that because when he was in Dallas he owned Washington and hated losing to them the rare chance they did.

Given the lack of quality in the other NFC divisions, I'd be surprised if both wild cards don't come out of the East.

For the second year in a row ...

I don't think the Skins are up-and-down at all, Sam. They looked bad the first week, but since then they've looked as good as anyone in the league, beating a decent Saints and a good Coboys team on the road in the process. I think they're for real. They seem to have bought into Zorn and his system.

I think the NFC may be better this year. With Brady going down killing the Pats, Indy struggling, the Steelers banged up, the Jags struggling, the Bengals and Browns absolutely sucking. And Denver and San Diego have terrible defenses.

Denver, Tennessee, San Diego, Indy, Baltimore and Pittsburgh are the best teams in my mind. And I can think of NFC counterparts that are just as good.

DENVER- DALLAS
TENNESSEE- WASHINGTON
SAN DEIGO- PHILLY
INDY-NEW YORK GIANTS
BALTIMORE- TAMPA BAY
PITTSBURGH-GREEN BAY

Given the recent developments in the AFC, the NFC is looking better and better.

Now, can we get this thread on track please...

I'd comapre them to Jeff Gordon at Talladega. I ain't counting on a win, just survival.
