Um, maybe more like Michigan or something.

But I did check the soda/pop map and found that Tulsa (where this video was shot) is actually pop country. I don't know the history behind that, but it is a rare bastion of "pop" outside the Midwest/Great Lakes.

They do not belong in Jersey. I was born and raised in Jersey, and no one there calls a soda a pop in Jersey.

The Alabama reference came about because of a very unpleasant visit to that state in which I was surrounded by so many people that sounded just like her. I know that pop is used more in the Midwest.
