Enjoyed the novella this is based on. Simple, fun, adventurous, but somewhat sad because as a reader you know that these two well-intentioned characters (dunc and egg) basically lead to all the eventual bloodshed in GOT through their decisions and actions.

As for the first episode…I’ll say promising. I enjoyed it much more than House, but nothing happened. It was like watching the cold intro to a 1980s sitcom extended for the entire episode.

Surprised there isn’t more interest in this yet. I’ve found this to be really enjoyable. Less bleak than Game of Thrones but still peppered with plenty of characters that fit right in with that realm. If anything rings a little untrue it’s that Dunk seems to do at least two things each episode that would get him shanked in Game of Thrones.

Plus he reminds me of the hero in that old unmasterable animated video game Dragon’s Lair.

Watched the first 2 episodes. Really like the 2 leads, but there are also so many characters that I don’t know who is who.

Feels like each novella cooda been a movie rather than a 6-8 episode season. Nothing much happening thus far and not moving at much of a pace

We haven't started watching it yet and probably won't for a while because of my husband's schedule for the next month or so. You know I have to admit I read the source material but I remember very little about it.

I know nothing of the source material but like the other GOT shows. Enjoyed the first two episodes.

It’s definitely introduces a lot of characters, per GOT style. But overall has a smaller and lighter feel.

The lead actor is engaging.

Laughs. I only watched part of the first episode so far, but yes, he absolutely does!

Through two episodes, it's actually nice that it's lighter than GOT or even House. Man love Aeg (or is it literally Egg??), he's got the stereotypical sympathetic appearance, small, bald, young.

I love when he’s going crazy for the joust. I love the child’s enthusiasm

The jousting scenes have been awesome. As someone who was a worn-down copy of L’Morte de Arthur it’s been so much fun to watch that aspect, especially the foursomes in the second episode. Just awesome.

The show has been fantastic. I wish there were more episodes

Without trying to be a spoiler.
