The way some of these HC jobs have been filled, you almost get the impression some coaches believe if they do really well they can move up to a better job, like how it works in college.
And when did the Senior Bowl stop having the entire coaching staffs of NFL teams coach the squads? Now its just four or five and typically none of the coordinators. You'd think the coaches would want as many eyeballs as possible to evaluate talent during the week.
Or maybe, with so many coaching staffs getting canned or in the playoffs (or both!), there just aren't that many bodies left.

Hollow threat -- they just hosted in 2020 and 2021.

With the rotation Houston is due for another before them and Nashville and Washington will get them soon. Nashville is going to get either 2030 or 2031. Washington is probably 2032 or 2033. One of those years is going to be back in New Orleans by then
