All right. I figured that where the Yankees are involved it means greed and horrible people, but now I get it in full.

Dickbags.

Well when you stop taking whatever he was taking to bulk up for baseball and focus on bike racing for 6-7 years, that's what happens. He's been obsessed with his riding in recent years. Anyway, good to see him back on the field. Still the best baseball player I've ever seen and I think he has a lot to offer.

Fat Tuesday indeed.

"I can't tell you if he got on the scale or not," Red Sox manager John Farrell said. "I can tell you that visiting him in January, he looked like he was in better condition."

And, from Mr. Kung Fu Panda Express:

"I don't weigh. I don't weigh in at all," Sandoval said after being asked how much weight he had lost. "I just do my work, try to do everything I can out there. I don't weigh at all in the whole offseason. I just try to get better, be in a better position and, like I say, be an athlete."

I'm glad he has a positive body image and hasn't accepted society's definitions of what's beautiful.

In fairness, Tim Anderson is going to be their shortstop at some point, probably this season, and Rollins was brought in to help break him in. Wise move in my estimation.
