A lot like the Cubs and third basemen for years. Vance Law might have been the last one that stuck for a couple of years before the turn of the century. Then came Ramirez and then Bryant (during which they finally won the WS).

The last outfielder drafted and developed for the Giants to make the All-Star Game was Chili Davis. That was 40 years ago. You have three OF positions and we're not even talking about STARTING an All-Star Game, just making the squad. Even with the Series wins under Bochy, that has been a massively underperforming franchise. Particularly since the stadium is paid off now. Doesn't look like its going to get better under Posey.
