However, Kyle Schwarber broke a windshield with a BP home run today. The ball will remain in the front seat until the end of the World Series between the Giants and the Blue Jays.

No, actually, Schwarber turned it into an endorsement deal. Smart guy!

And he was traded three times in three years at one stretch, which is unprecedented for a player of his caliber in that era. By all accounts, Hornsby was a miserable son of a *****.

Now, the guy who might have thought about leaving work to hit up a Wednesday night game against Mariners for $10 is going to have to pay full price at TicketMaster? He's going to stay home and watch on TV.

They say it's to prevent ticket fraud, but it's really so they can get a piece of the action by selling the same ticket twice.

Can you not get mobile tickets through StubHub? I haven't used the site a ton, but I feel like I've gotten them mobile when I did.

The Yankees only issue mobile tickets through TicketExchange (I think it's owned by TicketMaster), their partner in the secondary market.

I understand that. But can't people get their StubHub tickets through mobile too? Or am I misunderstanding the procedure? On the Deadspin link, the first commenter said he has been getting Nats mobile tickets through StubHub for years.

I believe they're connected to the ticket holder's account and are non-transferable.

EDIT: And the Deadspin commenter doesn't realize it's controlled by the teams, so while the Nats may allow it, the Yankees no longer do.

Also, ticket holders may still sell their tickets on StubHub, but the purchaser must be able to receive the hard ticket before the game, which makes the transaction more difficult.
