Why? The reports were Google wanted a lower fee than cable, which would have required Disney to lower fees to the latter. Plus, losing ESPN would have been one of the few reasons people would leave YTTV.

I like to get my four games up. Sometimes I watch them all, but I like to have that I can push in one game, watch it and just hit the back button to go back to for, and I can go into on another. It's way easier than changing channels. And that way you always have your four top games in one placeYou know, the multiview has never appealed to me. What would be amazing is if they found a way to integrate ESPN Plus streams within the YTTV app so you don’t have to toggle back and forth. And if you could allow those games to be part of the quads box, now you are talking near nirvana.
The make or break for me would be if it includes CBS Sports Network (for Kennesaw football/basketball) and the Turner channels for March Madness.
Turner will take some time to shake out because Netflix is planning to spin off the WB cable except for HBO (Discovery Global).
But still no RSNs?

I would go for the second package if it includes local stations but I bet they will not put local stations with the sports package. Because that means I stay on the big expensive package to get both of them.
I believe they will include local stations with the sports package, but it's so prohibitively priced that you're better off getting the whole shebang.
Locals and sports channels, I believe. No news channels.
