YouTube TV

So I've opted for a free trial of Fubo. I'll cancel it before my trial is up. That will at least give me the availability of watching a game on the TV, a game on my phone and a game on my tablet and it will include all the ABC games. That was the most logical workaround for me

I went ahead and canceled YouTube TV and did the Disney/Hulu/ESPN bundle since since my wife and I are finally starting to watch Andor. I'm sure I'll bail on it after a month or two like I do every streaming service. I never subscribe to more than one at a time.

I will before next weekend if this isn't settled. I just love the the YouTube TV football setup though.

I really like YouTubeTV and none of the alternatives look great. If this drags on I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I was thinking about Fumo but I don’t hear great things about the picture quality.

Sometimes you get lucky. Go to YouTube and search the game you want to watch. Most Saturdays there are a hundred live feeds. You might have to go thru a few of them to get a decent one but it's worth it.

OK, this is just Starky and Arky but there might be a link the further down you scroll.

Watching one game at a time sucks ass. Watching on my TV, my tablet, my phone is just not something I ever want to do again although I will occasionally rotate the tablet in. I am definitely not keeping fubo. I suspect that if we've lost ABC forever on YouTube, I will just get the Hulu Disney ESPN bundle. We already have a Hulu Disney bundle so whatever.

My suspicion is this gets solved in time for MNF. If so it will be the one time I thank God for the Cowboys being on the air.

Otherwise I think this becomes trench warfare and I bail next Saturday.

Since I’ve got Sunday Ticket, I’m stuck until the end of the NFL season. I’d like to change, but this same thing will happen with whatever provider you use. Live sports are the 800-pound gorilla of carriage fee negotiations.

Same with Sunday Ticket.

I was lucky that the 2 programs I care about were both on a bye yesterday, so really didn't affect me. My main program is on NBC next week, so also not a big concern.

Really hope it gets resolved in time for MNF.

I'm surprised it's gone even this far. These things never go to blackouts. When ESPN doesn't get a slew of app subscriptions, Disney will cave or at least negotiate. If it doesn't work to hold out on a football weekend, it'll never work.

I’m sensing that a lot of you are single.

We have YTV for more than just sports … and more for just me.
Only thing I will miss live on ABC is Shark Tank, but I can catch it later on Disney+. I have subs to niche services to watch the live sports I care about.

As i mentioned in the "old school" thread, if it's possible you should at least kick the tires on good old fashioned cable TV. Xfinity has a curated quad box and in the last 2 weeks has rolled out a build your own quad option, still a work in progres on the channels you can build. Had Breeder's Cup, NASCAR, WS, and multiple FB options to build from all day Saturday. Not perfect, not the best bang for the buck, but might be worth a look for some. And i cannot remember the last time channels were blacked out because of a agreement dispute.

Yeah I heard Xfinity rolled out the split screens. The problem is when you go back to cable, you can't just download an app and do it. You have to have appointment. They have to come with the equipment. Can't do it on the fly. And I have it ongoing war with Xfinity so I'd like to stay clear of a contract if I can
