So if YouTube TV doesn't bring the Disney channels back by tomorrow, what are my streaming options to get a comparable package in time for kickoff?

I get the Disney/Hulu/ESPN Plus bundle via Verizon. I’m contemplating how much of a pain it would be to add the extra bundle straight from ESPN to get access to the live channels and get it to work.

Alternately I could wait it out, watch inferior football on a bye week and if this isn’t solved by Monday just junk YTTV altogether for another streamer on the opening day of college basketball.

Feels like it, UNC. Maybe get a day or 2 of a blackout, then people rise up enough to get it resolved.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
The last time YTTV and Disney got in a snit, the channels were gone the Saturday before Christmas, which then was the heaviest day of minor bowls. I forget if they were gone Sunday but they were definitely back for MNF.

Apple TV is where it's at anyway. So many good shows.

If you want something that will rock your world, totally original, pay for Apple TV for a month and binge Tehran.

I'm in the I-can-wait camp. It's been a comprehensive package for us for a few years now. And of course, there's **** Disney. And of course, if I want to see a game, really, really want to see a game, I'm going to see the game.

Got a couple of new TVs last Christmas, and over the last few months, have become addicted to Samsung TV, the free streaming service that came installed.

Tons of channels dedicated to single shows and channels - have found myself falling asleep to binge watches of The Big Break from The Golf Channel, or Forged in Fire, some Swamp People or Shipping Wars. Toss in some old reruns of Essence of Emeril and Dawson's Creek.

It will never fully replace a "live" cable/streaming service in our house, primarily because of live sports, but it's a nice alternative to have. And for free? Hell yes.

Yeah I saw that. I mean it really doesn't matter what I pick up because I won't be able to split the screen into four like I do with YouTube TV. I mean that's what I really want

****ing A.

Of course the carriers get blamed and I have zero doubt that they deserve it, but **** the networks for their gouging bull**** that they then hide behind with their horse**** ads claiming innocence in these situations.

I believe YTV is the only carrier I’ve ever had that offered any semblance of a refund too when these disputes happen.

Admittedly, I can live without the main leagues ESPN carries. I don’t lose the college conferences I care about, MLB or Premier League soccer, etc.

I can live without the NBA, MNF and SEC/ACC football for a bit.

(And so can anyone else. Both networks and carriers take advantage of collective impatient in these situations.)

I dunno. I found Apple TV kinda underwhelming. Only having its own fare, good though it may be, is a big disadvantage compared to nets that offer a bevy of movies, TV shows, etc.

Once you experience college football and Sunday Ticket in the four-box on YTTV, I'm not sure there's any going back.

Like what are we, Amish?
