I admittedly haven't paid much attention to the guy; just assumed he was Casey Hampton 2.0.

Maybe so, but Henne had all night to throw last night against a defense that made life hell for Brady and Brees.

Not at all. Hood is a 3-4 defensive end, not a nose tackle. Not that he was anything but invisible Sunday.

Not at all. Hood is a 3-4 defensive end, not a nose tackle. Not that he was anything but invisible Sunday.

Henne completed what I consider the "cycle" of passes that only great QBs throw with consistency. All in the fourth quarter.

Long ball: Ginn TD
Touch pass: Camarillo to the lefton 3rd down in final drive for a first.
Medium to long out: Numerous times, most impressively on the end of a roll right on third down to again find Camarillo for the crucial final first down.

Steve Young called it the greatest display of young quarterback play he has ever seen.

Too bad, though, that the Dolphins didn't ship a 2nd and 5th for Edwards.

I see so many teams spend millions of dollars on skill positions and ignore the lines. And the Redskins still haven't figured out that one.

They haven't? Didn't they just plunk down $100 million ($41 million guaranteed) for Albert Haynesworth -- a defensive tackle? If he's not in the trenches, I'm not sure who is.

A one-person attempt at a stopgap. After a failed attempt to throw money at Jason Taylor, another stopgap. The rest of their line sucks.

And how about their offensive line? Even before injuries it was among the worst in the league. Now it probably is the worst.

After quarterback, the next-highest paid positions are offensive and defensive line. Then linebackers.

The skill positions actually tend to be pretty low-paid outside of quarterback.

I think Blitz is yanking a few chains. I don't believe any game in NFL history has ever had a 28-point spread, not even the 2007 games between the Patriots (who finished 16-0) and Dolphins (who finished 1-15).
