Well, Marques Colston and Donald Driver were both seventh-round picks. Joe Horn was a fifth-round pick. Steve Smith and Anquan Boldin were both second-round picks.

The Eagles, meanwhile, have used draft picks on the likes of Jason Avant, Todd Pinkston, Freddie Mitchell and Reggie Brown in the Reid years.

It's not like they haven't tried. But their talent evaluation seems to be a little off, at that position, at least.

All that said, DeSean Jackson looks like a keeper.

I hear ya. My mistake, for some reason I was thinking short term (like since last season). Yeah, Jackson looks good and the team's ineptness in drafting wide receivers does make the point.

Very worried about this game as well. I'd take the over, no doubt. Cowboys have a strong shot if their pass rush can get to Warner early and often.
