I always enjoy the Fun with PK throwdown, but I especially enjoyed today's entry.

That is awesome.

I like King, always have, and today's column may have been his worst of all-time.

We really have gone downhill. Not only did "Sunshine" start a Week 3 thread before Week 2 was over, he did it with an incredibly lazy header. I miss the old ones named for players who had worn the number on their jerseys, past and present.

Someone out there did something awesome to a Cover Girl ad:

Do you ever hear what you're saying, Buster?

What part of what I wrote was incorrect? It was long considered bad form here to start the next week's thread before the current week's games were over. I'm sure you have been around long enough to know that, by one name or another. This thread began early and with an incredibly lazy thread title.

Translation: OOP is right, but the sock puppet isn't mature enough to admit it.

By the way, NOW it is time for a Week 3 thread. Anybody want to actually talk football?

It was supposed to be a dry run, but now we've got a mess on our hands.

Interested in seeing how Dalton and the Bengals fare without Green for a while. They've been the class of the division so far.

Lewis said the Green injury wasn't supposed to be a long-term thing. From what I'm reading, he could be back after their bye next week.

Rihanna @rihanna · 4h
CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, **** you! Y'all are sad for penalizing me for this.

The NFL penalizes everyone, Rihanna. Haven't you been watching?

Maybe Chris Brown will perform it.

More inconsistent idiocy from the NFL. The league suspends Josh Gordon for the season under the old substance abuse policy. During the negotiation of the new policy, Gordon gets a DUI.

As part of the new agreement, Gordon's ban is reduced to 10 games even though it happened under the old agreement.

The new agreement calls for an automatic two-game ban for DUI, but now there is a report that the NFL will not enforce it against Gordon because it happened before the new deal was in place.

But, the offenses leading to the season-long ban happened under the old agreement, too, so WTF? Both should be either under the old agreement or the new one.

Leave Josh alone. He's a role model.

These people are indeed idiots, but I'll bet it's not so much an anti-Broncos bias they are mad about but rather Simms' (and Nantz's) undying Dante for Beatrice level love for Tom Brady and all things Patriot.

This is the truth, and Bronco fans would be far better served by stating this precise objection. Nantz has long been an epic Kraft toady, and hasn't recanted.
