NFL Week 13: Insert dumb title here

I don't think that will happen. He's not asked to do too much. O-line is sensational and he has a borderline elite running back with which to work.

The bigger question might be whether Elliott hits the rookie wall.

So that made me curious and I looked it up. Elliott's career high for touches was 316 in 13 games for Ohio State last season. This year he has 267 touches in 11 games, which projects to 315.5 for 13 games. So he's right on the same pace. Of course, in college, the last of those 13 games came after a long break. Also, I'm thinking he took fewer hard hits in college than it he NFL (and probably had to hurdle fewer defenders).

So does he wear down late in a 16-game season, plus playoffs?

If you hadn't heard yet, Mike Zimmer won't coach the Vikings tonight after requiring emergency eye surgery for a detached retina (he had similar eye problems early in the season). Mike Priefer, of "nuke the gays" fame, is apparently the acting guy tonight.

Cowboys are playing like ass so far. Can't sustain anything without a penalty. And when they do, they put it on the ground.

Are the majority of NFL punters left-footed? Both punters tonight are, and I know the Redskins' and Ravens' punters both are.

No. Outside of first basemen, lefties aren't the majority of anything.

Yep. Labrum surgery. Likely ends his Bears career after a fitting 51-51 record.

Was it his fault or was it 12 other things and it's just convenient to blame the nonchalant-looking quarterback?

Cutler was a perfectly average quarterback. Never as bad as he was made out to be, but never lived up to his talent either.

I think getting the **** beat out of him early and often in Chicago stunted his development. That and playing for a ****ty franchise.
