New Orleans trades Reggie Bush to Atlanta for 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes
10 carries for 49 yards and a TD. 7 catches for 40 yards. I'm not saying Bush hasn't "sucked" this year but you picked a bad time to say it. :)

Picked up David Garrard for my fantasy team because Brad Johnson has been killing me the past two weeks. And what do I get? 15/34 214 yards and 4 picks. Thanks alot David Garrard, THANKS ALOT!

Whoever this commentator is for the Rams-Seahawks circus -- J.C. Pearson, I believe -- is bad, bad, bad.

He was praising the Rams for going for it on fourth down, bitching about the play call (although he was right), then at the end of the game said at one point they should have kicked the field goal. His pitiful act was surpassed only by the play-by-play guy.

Someone should get in Scott Linehan's ear and tell him he really ****ed this one up today for the Rams.

Is there any truth to the rumor that the Giants are starting Tom Landry at corner and Sam Huff at linebacker?

Wonder how Vegas can keep building billion-dollar hotels...days like today are Exhibit A.

Seriously, given the choice in the NFL today who would you rather have Vick or LT?

The VIVA LA VICKBALL brigade is going to say Vick because he's 26 and QBs tend to hit their peak aroudn the time RBs start to slide.

But Vick's going to either kill another coach in Atlanta or get traded by opening day 2008. So what good will that have done the Falcons if they're starting all over again while LT2 continues plowing towards the HOF. If the Chargers just didn't have Marty ready to choke, I'd say they were legit candidates to win it all this year.
Wrong again my friend. I would pick LT.

I stand corrected.

The Saints turned into the 2006 Steelers today, turning the ball over just enough to lose.

Funny thing any national commentator who looks at the game will tell us that Ben Roethlisberger had a big game because the Steelers ran the ball so well. Of course, they will miss the fact that he had all three of his touchdown passes and over 200 yards in the air before Willie Parker's two big runs and two touchdowns.

And Parker may disappear at times, but the guy's got 854 yards and eight touchdowns rushing through nine games. Kinda hard to argue with where his numbers end up.

Wouldn't it be Vick or Tomlinson + Brees?

OK, that drive was good, well-executed. Interesting: I've watched football since I was 6 (I'm 35). I've never ever seen a 3rd and 22 draw play go for the 25-30 yards Jones took it for on this drive. Every 3rd and 22 draw play has gone for 3, 4, 5 ... 8 at the most yards.

Anyhoo ... I'm still bitter about 1985 (Bears 24-0 over the L.A. Dieter Dickersons).
