Deep in the hearta (enemy territory)
Offseason is over, so time for a new thread as the Dolphins and Cowboys slouch toward Canton.

Cowboys couldn't even make it through their first workout before losing defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford to a torn Achilles. Against tackling dummies, for chrissakes.

It's so refreshing that with the new salary structure for rookies that this time of year is no longer waiting for all of the first-round picks to sign. I wish they'd done that when I was still covering the NFL.

Right. Instead, we're dealing with the latest moronic crap coming out of Dove Valley.

Von Miller facing a four-game suspension for testing positive for pot and another recreational drug.

It's been one big party in Dove Valley this offseason. At least win the Super Bowl if you have something to party.

Idiot.

Wow, it sounds like the Broncos already have the "organizational failure" excuse in place for when Peyton craps out in January again!

I guess Von didn't realize that Colorado legal does not mean NFL legal.

That's a problem going forward, both for the Broncos and Seahawks.

It's more than just pot. And under NFL rules, it's his third failed drug test if he's facing the four-game suspension for non-PED use.

Yeah, there's a problem in Dove Valley and they're becoming an embarrassment.

This is what it sounds like

Word filtering out the other drug is Molly, a pure form of MDMA and is comparable to ecstasy.

Von Miller says he didn't do it:

Dumbest dumbass in football would have to be 49ers cornerback Tarell Brown, who skipped the 49ers' off-season workouts, thereby voluntarily dropping his 2013 salary from $2.925 million to $925,000.

And the update, he fires his agent. Says he didn't know a thing about the workout requirement and the first he heard about losing the $2 million was when he saw it on Twitter.

Nicely played.

Redskins D-tackle Jarvis Jenkins to be suspended 4 games for PEDs, per Adam Schefter on Twitter:

Just makes you wonder how widespread this is.

And why the union heavily resisted for two years to even get a population baseline on HGH even though it agreed to HGH testing in the last CBA. It's quite widespread.

No, that's not possible. Only baseball has a steroid problem. Football solved it in the late '80s except for Shawne Merriman's accidental positive.
