If Clemson is going to face all kinds of outrage for almost losing to North Carolina why isn't their similar outrage over Baylor nearly losing to a limp dicked offense TCU?

It all ends for Rhule and his Red Lobster bib on Saturday.
They should have lost to Texas Tech and TCU.....and beat a hideous West Virginia team in Waco by 7.

Oregon has all the trump cards now.
If they win out, and beat Utah in Pac-12 title game, they're in the Final 4.
I think it ends eventually ends up LSU, Ohio State, Clemson, Oregon.

While I hate having to wait until November to get some decent college football - back to back weeks of good matchups might make me forget about 10 weeks of ho-hum. I think Baylor and Minnesota exit the stage this week and Clemson dumps Wake. Georgia-Auburn should be a slugfest.

I can't wait to see ****boy Iowa upset Minnesota next week and catapult all the way to 11 in the rankings again. Most inept offense I've ever seen, three losses already and they haven't spent one day out of the top 25.

Oh, I've been watching Hawkeye football for almost 30 years. There's been many years with more inept offenses than this year's version.

I have an acquaintance who was a Pac-12 white hat. Two years ago they offered him a position on the video replay team. He didn't want to stop reffing, but decided to take the offer because he didn't know if it would still be available in a couple of years when he wanted to leave the field. He is in his mid-60s. We talked about this about a month ago. I told him I'd read all of Canzano's stories, etc. He said, "Canzano is 99.9 percent correct."

Yes. He is in good shape and had no trouble keeping up with the play. Obviously, the white hat is in the backfield most of the time and doesn't do a lot of running, but his age was never an issue. He did tell me a couple of years ago that the league wanted the on-camera refs (white hats) to be younger, more buff, and, uh, they wanted more diversity.

The white hat moves a lot more than you think. The line of scrimmage wings move a lot as well.
