I don't think it's rigged. I just think it sucks.

Go back to the old way. With most of the players coming out as 19-year-olds, there are no Olajuwons or Ewings or Duncans in the draft anymore. How many sure things have there been in the draft for the last 15 years? LeBron, Howard and Anthony Davis? Maybe Yao?

Are teams really going to tank to get Towns or Okafor? They're both nice players, but it's not a lock that they're going to turn your franchise around.

I'd like to introduce you to:

The Sixers weren't tanking for any specific player. And, I'm guessing certainly not for Towns or Okafor, considering they already have Noel and Embiid. They were tanking for their growing stockpile of draft picks and cap space.

If he lasts past the 3rd pick, something's wrong. I'm hoping the Lakers take him at 2.

Granted, I haven't heard many interviews with him, but don't most analyists agree?

D'Angelo Russell will only work out for teams with a top 3 pick.

He sounds like a delight.

Why should he work out for anyone else? He's already a lock to get taken at the 4 or 5 spots if he's still there, but is trying to get into the top 3. There's no upside and only potential downside to working out for anyone else.

Not a knock on D'Angelo, it was just ... endearing? ... to hear him say that with a full thrust of confidence behind the statement.

Always take a pure scorer. That's where Portland went wrong by taking Oden over Durant.

I'd take Towns over Okafor.

As far as the Lakers go, Towns -- who will be a great player -- and Randle would be a formidable inside presence to build around but it's hard to look beyond Russell's offense.

As a long-suffering and completely bitter Kings fan, I hope Justise Winslow is there at No. 6. Everybody has them taking Willie Cauley-Stein. I was against that until I read something on Fox Sports that compared him to Joakim Noah. I just remember Noah scoring a lot more in college than Cauley-Stein did.

So apparently the Knicks are open to trading the 4th overall pick. I have no idea; what would they expect in return? Can someone give examples?

I assume someone might trade up to 4 in order to pick between Russell/Mudiay? Anyone else?

That's the Grizz 2.0; not a bad foundation but severe limitations without outside shooting.
