I’m 49 and I’m not going to live long enough to see the Predators have a true 1C. Barry Trotz is a hockey terrorist.

I watched my first Preds game in a long time last year and wondered what time line I woke up in. FWIW, I like Trotz but have wondered how this was/is working out. He may be better than I realize or appreciate. This seems like a tough job made to look easy. I thought Poile had one of the most thankless tasks in the league, creating a hockey bright spot in Nashville.
