For the oldtimers

I know that many of us are no longer around but a few of us gathered last night to talk about the good old days in sports journalism, particularly in the newsroom. We began listing some of the things we missed. Personally, I miss the need for having press conferences, smoking (and late at night drinking) in the news room, and competing against other publications on a daily basis.
