Cantor-Jackson was a member of the Grateful Dead's engineering crew from 1968 through 1981, producing exquisite soundboard tape recordings affectionately known as "Betty Boards." Cantor-Jackson co-produced the 1968 live album, Live/Dead and 1970 studio album Workingman's Dead, and recorded the band's historic May 8, 1977 show at Cornell University that was added to the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress.
The Betty Boards Foundation launched the online auction to raise funds for Cantor-Jackson while she recovers from hip surgery and flood damage to her home. Available lots include vintage concert posters and photos of the Grateful Dead and other bands, one-on-one lessons with professional musicians, signed instruments, vinyl records, custom artwork and much more."

There are a number of items I'd love to have but I'm certain that the prices will quickly soar out of my league. She should do pretty well out of this, between the things she's selling and items donated to be auctioned. Item 33 alone should go a long way toward making her whole financially - it's a Les Paul autographed by B.B. King, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and Carlos Santana. Note that some incredibly generous soul actually donated this guitar to the auction. That's a true friend indeed! Anyhow, four days to go on this benefit if anyone feels froggy.
I'd love to get that Hot Tuna poster but I know damn well that $30 initial price will increase to $300 or better.
