I hope this Johnny Dawkins-to-Stanford doesn't fly.

Like the institution ... it would be a nice get for Stanford as Dawkins played at Duke and has been recruiting the type of youngster at Duke that he would need at Stanford.

But if the Iowa contingent here is even partially correct about Bob Bowlsby, there's the reason I don't like it. It's not strictly a case of expecting Dawkins to sit around waiting for Mike Krzyzewski to retire.
