Trying not to turn this into a knick bashing thread, but their outdoor viewing party looks the least fun I've seen. With that tree blocking a lot of views....

I'm trying to remember the best I have seen.. Viewing party outside T-Mobile center off the strip in Vegas looked awesome. Toronto viewing parties for the Raptors looked great as well.

My brother and sister were in the Deer District for the Jrue steal-Giannis lob dunk that turned the Finals in Game 5.

I would have been there, but we had a pre-planned family vacation in Colorado.

Great trip … still wish I could have witnessed the greatest in-game moment in Bucks history with the masses.

This is an expected milestone following Paul's death, who had directed his sports holdings to be sold with all Estate proceeds being directed to philanthropy. I still don't see how Allen's sister can hold on to the Seahawks given the instructions of the will. But I'm glad she's finally selling the Blazers. They've been adrift as a franchise for years.
Which begs the question, better to have an owner who really doesn't care or one who cares too much (like Tepper with the Panthers). People are still hoping Phil Knight buys the team, but I don't think she wants to sell to Knight for some reason.

I'm hoping Phil Knight buys the team and will take back every bad thing I've ever said about Nike if he does and it works, unless he keeps Bert Kolde on the payroll.

I don't think if I were a Blazers fan I'd ever complain about Allen's ownership run, he really tried and gave his basketball people free reign. I mean you could've had MJ as an owner....or Isiah as a GM.....

It's been seven years since Allen died. I know he had a ton of holdings and gobs of money, but that is a ridiculously long time to not do what he wanted in the will, much less at least start the process and put the team on the market.

My sister and her family had a decent-sized estate, including a profitable business. We sold it and closed 10 months after the crash. Selling their home took a bit longer, mainly because it was a unique property and home. We closed on that 18 months after the crash.

Just being rid of Kolde is a huge win. I am not worried about the team being moved, or really, any other owner, because the last decade has been brutal. Just be done with Kolde and the Vulcans. I don't love how old Knight is and that he fund my alma matter's rival, but if he's all in on the Blazers, I don't doubt he'd do every thing he can can to build them into a contender.
