NFL Week 8 thread: Ready for prime time?

Just looking around between innings and didn't see one started, but apologies if this is a d_b. I'll leave the spreads to those who are into those.

Thursday: Jax at Tennessee, NFL Network only. A grateful nation says thank you.

Another Sunday game in London this week, Redskins vs. Bengals.

Sunday day schedule looks blah, except for Raiders at Buccaneers (Raiders stayed in Florida all week after Jacksonville game) and Packers at Falcons.

Sunday night, another NFC East Broadcasting Company special in Eagles at Cowboys.

Monday night: NFC North matchup in Vikings at Bears, while most of Chicago recovers from a weekend-long Cubs bender.

For what it's worth the relative weakness of this week's schedule has a lot to do with six teams being on byes, including the Steelers and Giants, normally big primetime draws.

Also, as mentioned in the TV ratings thread, the fact that Jaguars-Titans is the Thursday game this week is a pure write-off by the NFL (which is probably why this game in NFLN only), which requires each of its teams to have one prime time game a year. The Browns are coming up in a couple weeks.

Philadelphia-Dallas is the most intriguing game on the schedule by a lot.

Didn't realize until I saw it on Twitter a few minutes ago that Bradley has a lower career winning percentage (.259) than Dave Shula (.268).

Move the Jags to London, which already has a new stadium, and correct a truly horrendous decision by the Tagliabue administration, which unconscionably awarded an expansion franchise to a city that couldn't, still can't and never will support a big-league team. Jacksonville is 47th on the market rankings list, I believe. No higher than it was 20 years ago.

Regardless of their record, the Jaguars have consistently outdrawn teams such as Miami, Tampa Bay and Cincinnati. When they were making the playoffs under Coughlin and Del Rio, they were drawing 67,000-72,000. Any city of any size will support any team, as long as it's a winner.
