Damn, knew that guy looked familiar. Saw some of that show while I was out tonite. Looked halfway decent. I kept trying to figure out if the one guy was Kevin Spacey.

I bailed on the show last year - a little too earnest and the defenders never seemed to have scumbags for clients. Read a funny bit on EW about Gosselar having to attend a meeting with Bochco, the network head and some other mucky mucks when they were trying to figure out how short they should cut his hair (but it has to work for the story).
He went from a guy I wanted to punch in the face about 20 years ago to a seemingly okay guy.

Nope, Curry Graham -- the last boss on NYPD Blue before Sipowicz took over.

Doesn't Fallon have a board where he's trying to get the entire Saved By the Bell cast on his show? I think he's had Mr. Belding and Lisa Turtle on.

All he needs now is Tiff Theissen and Screech.

Liked the rendition of "Friends Forever" with The Roots. Kelly Ripa licking the Sousaphone was interesting.

That **** was awesome. Loved when he pulled out his cell phone from his back pocket and called a "time out."

Indeed, the prospect of a "Bell" reunion was floated by Fallon, and he's got more than 30,000 sigs on an online petition to show for it. There was a "Where are they now" story on Yahoo yesterday.

Holy crap, that was AWESOME.

I was rolling, great stuff. Fallon hasn't been as much of a disaster as I expected, although that may not be saying much.

Graham did a great job of being a jerk when he came on the show and transitioning to an almost-human by the time he left.
And while we're on the subject, and if I may be permitted a threadjack, when will common sense prevail so that the remaining seasons of Blue can be released on DVD?!

By far, that is the best thing Fallon has done since he began. And great for "Zack" to play along. My wife and I were rolling.

Fallon still sucks. He just can't not laugh during skits. Come on man, be a pro.

That said, great piece. Like blacktitleist said, best thing Fallon's ever done.

God, Fallon sucks at everything. It's a good idea to try and become the guy who organizes a reunion of some goofy long-ago show. But there's nothing cultish about Saved By The Bell--everyone in his demo knows the show is a cheesy cultural touchstone--and let's face it, it's not hard at all to get everyone together. Gosselear (sp?) and Lopez are the only ones doing anything.

If he really wanted to do something impressive, he'd try to get a Mr. Belvedere reunion going. There's a career skidding to a halt, a la what has happened to just about everyone on SBTB, then there's a career REALLY jumping off the rails, a la the three kids on Belvedere.

**** almighty, Fallon, can't you do anything right?
