I think I owe someone $20 for talking smack about my home conference.

Oh well, an Oregon win always makes me happy, even if it meant I owed everyone $20.

Pac-10's up to 3-0. Woowoo.

whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa

What's with this capital letter ****?

Between this and Fen having a sidesaddle pic, I'm not sure I feel all that safe at SJ anymore.

I think that was me.

Maybe not.

Anyway. It's glorious to see the Pac-10 at 3-0.

Fen. Who?

Hate to say it, but this Sun Bowl could determine who wins ESPN's Bowl Challenge Cup for conference supremecy. Both conferences are 3-0.

It's hard to beat teams when you have absolutely no defense, and your coach spends a lot of time near the bench (with his back turned, talking to the offense) when your defense is on the field.

No defense?

They played some good offenses pretty well.

so the team with the 12th string running back went ahead and won, eh?

god, the pac-10 sucks.

Yeah, Oregon State and Oregon are very good. Come on.
OSU just beat a Pitt team with what looked like an amputee for a quarterback by a 3-0 score and the Ducks beat a team that have never tackled anyone, and had a hard time with them.

USC is good, the Pac-10 is not.

osu
vs. missouri +5
vs. texas -4
vs. oklahoma -20
vs. oregon -11

yeah, the midwest south is all that.

Oregon State is never going to get the blue-chippers (or alleged blue-chippers) that go to USC, Texas or Florida, but I'm pretty proud of what the program has become. I think it will always be a second or third 10 team. So what?

you must have missed the 2008 SportsJournalists.com memo ... OSU had washington and washington state on their schedules something like four times each.
