I just got interviewed about a neighborhood issue for the local network news tonight. Look for me at 6 spouting pearls of wisdom for all the grammas watching.

"I never thought something like that would happen here - it's such a tight-knit neighborhood."

I can't wait to see what you are holding in front of your face, Rags.

If it's anything like your great posts, are they going to split your comments up with commercials or just dedicate a few minutes each newscast for the month of July?

Ragu: He was a qwuiet guy, kind of a loner.
Interviewer: Are you suprised he killed Buckwheat?
Ragu: Oh, not at all. That's all he ever talked about.

Nope. One of the networks.

You pretty much nailed it. Called my dad right afterward. He's the only person I could think of who would be home at 6, might actually watch the local news, and would care.

Network and local news are different, right?

Maybe. But it's the local affiliate for one of the networks. Sorry I wasn't more clear. I don't know how it works.

The news director gets up in the morning, reads all the papers and tells his staff to cover the good stories.

"Why yes I do have opinions on gold and oil."

I have opinions on dickheads also.

I was the star of the newscast, by the way. Someone randomly saw me and called, too!
