Starts tomorrow. Coverage is at 7 a.m. EDT on the Tennis channel. (Not sure I'll be up for that).

My picks: Nadal and Sharapova. I hope I'm wrong on the women.

If it would be at all possible for Andy Murray to go into the second week, I would appreciate it.

Also on ESPN2 at 7.

Nadal still isn't ready to beat Federer on grass.
Ana Ivanovic is about to become the superstar of women's tennis.

Nothing like going out on a limb and picking the two top-seeds.

I think you can do the same thing on ESPN360 as well, views of individual courts instead of relying on whatever ESPN wants to give you.

That's assuming your Internet provider has signed up with and paid up front ESPN360. Many haven't.

Well yeah. My office has though, so that's nice.

Oh, we're going to have cheesecake? Fine.

:D

I know he won't lose, but Roger is 0-2 lifetime against Dominik Hrabaty...
I wonder how many other players have played Roger more than once and have either (a) never lost to him or even (b) have a winning record

Ana Ivanovic will win and the hotness scale will forever be broken and no one will ever bring up Anna K again.

I think if Nadal is going to win Wimbledon when Roger is still at the top, this is the year. Nadal just owned him this year (on clay) and Nadal went 5 in the final last year.

Wimbledon always brings back good memories of watching "Breakfast at Wimbledon" with **** Enberg. Tanner v. Borg; Connors v. Ashe; Connors v. Borg; McEnroe v. Borg; Cash v. Lendl; Becker v. Edberg; Stich winning, Stich!!!

Nadal is 11-6 lifetime against him. The there was the curious case of Guillermo Canas, who beat him in consecutive tournaments last year. I couldn't find if he was ahead in the all-time series though.

No-one else springs immediately to mind.

They are 3-3 lifetime, according to the ATP website... unfortunately, nowhere on that site can I find a list of Federer vs. everyone... got to enter each matchup individually

I think Roger gets him back, in some ways the French Open beatdown was a wake-up call and possibly a relief. Even the great ones have an off day against a guy who was almost impossible to beat to begin with.

Plus, frankly, tennis needs Federer to be on top for another couple of years. He's carrying the sport in terms of mainstream press and it doesn't seem like anyone else is really interested in doing it.

And I would pick Venus over Serena here. This seems like one of those Venus years, she's sort of under the radar and not getting a lot of attention.

Marat wins! Marat wins!

That 2nd round game against Djokovic could be outstanding. Like the announcers were saying, he usually plays to the level of his opposition.

Safin could get a huge boost with a win on Wednesday.

Oh dear Chris Fowler: Estonia is in the Balkans, which is kind of near Finland, right?

It's a good thing Bud was there to correct him.

I used to be a Williams sisters fan but after watching more and more of Serena, I am tired of her haughty attitude and body language. When playing a nobody in the 1st round, she just seems like there is no joy at playing at Wimbledon on a beautiful sunny day on the 1st day of the "fortnight."
