The 4-person pregame show was ridiculous, Rizzo trying to outsmart everybody. The ending of the competition saved the day. And the postgame interview with the winner was pretty good, until .........

Yep, the Netflix time slot expired in mid-sentence.

Just an absolute own goal by MLB by putting this **** on Netflix. We wanted to watch at the bar. Couldn't. I don't subscribe to Netflix and wasn't willing to just for this, so I didn't see a second of it. It's one thing to put a random game here or there on streaming, but one of your signature events should be at least on cable where you can go out to watch it.
I have Netflix but watched "LBJ" instead. Woody Harrelson looked ridiculous, but I totally bought into his character. He had all of Johnson's mannerisms down pat.

I'm starting to see why RFK Jr. is such a ****. The more I learn of his father, Jr. inherited his dickishness.

I got a phone call during Walker's at bat so I went back to watch it afterwards and the replay had the interviews and full postgame show. No idea what glitched during the live broadcast.

I would be happy with Quintero and/or Hope and a pitcher. Dodgers rarely give up prospects they want to keep. Alex Verdugo and Gavin Lux are examples.
True. Saw another report today that the Dodgers and Yankees aren't expected to be strong bidders, but the Cubs, Rays, and Braves are in the mix, for what that's worth.

It's crazy that the Dodgers have four players among the top 31 prospects in baseball according to MLB.com, all of them outfielders.

Someone will overpay for Skubal. It's Harris' job to figure out which one. Do I think he's up to the task? A shake of the Magic Eight Ball says "future hazy, try again."
I could see the Rays giving up basically anybody but Caminero and Díaz, and they’d probably think hard about either.

I'd be OK with the Brewers overpaying for a rental. Prospects to burn.

If you’ve got a chance, bite the damned bullet and — I know this is heresy — part with your third- and 10th-best prospects. Get Skubal. Ride him. Win the whole thing. Let him walk into the arms of a stupid suitor who will pay him $40,000,000 a year for six years and watch him blow out his overextended elbow on April 3, 2027.

You think there'll be baseball in 2027? Optimism looks weird on you!
