Gophers up 7-0 on Middle Tennessee
Ohio State up 14-0 on Marshall
Indiana up 14-0 on Towson

Marshall is horrible. They can't catch the ball, which, last time I checked, is rather important, especially in the spread. OSU has it's 2nd-string OL in on this drive.

I think too many teams are playing FCS schools this week for there to not be an upset. And I will laugh heartily when it happens, preferably to a ranked team.

Marshall is still awful, but the Thundering Herd just blocked an OSU FG and returned it for a touchdown. They had gotten a hand on an extra point on OSU's first score, though it still went through. A kink OSU still has to work out, I guess.

The FG block was right up the middle too.

Yeah. Guy just powered through the line.

So far, I've found these Big Ten Network commentators painful, but I guess I should give them some time.

Long passing TD for Pryor. Ohio State about to go back up by 14. Think I heard before the game that Marshall was missing it's top two CBs.

Tressel pulls this "take out the starters" early in the game, WAY too much. Cost 'em 7 tonight, d*maned near cost the Navy game last season. Vest....wait until the 2nd half. Please??

Some of the ****tiest tackling in the known universe on South Carolina's TD. When you let Stephen Garcia run through your whole defense for a 22-yard score, well, words fail me.

Man, Marshall ALMOST blocked an OSU punt. Instead, got a running into the kicker penalty.

Ohio State looks really shaky on special teams. First game....but not the kind of thing you expect out of a Tressel team.

Norfolk St. hanging tough with Rutgers. 3-0 Scarlet Knights with 3 minutes left in the half.

They really **** the bed to start the game. Had the ball with a chance to make it a 7 point game a blew it. Also missed a 31 yard field goal.

Meanwhile on ESPN, South Carolina QB rumbled for a nice TD. Plowed over a defender instead of going out of bounds. South Carolina just looking good.

Middle Tennessee not exactly fearing The Gopher.

14-14 with 36 seconds left in the first half. And, no, the game isn't being played in Minneapolis. Minnesota is playing at Murfreesboro.
