I don't know how I got anything done at work today, but I did. Had the whole five-hour broadcast on in my office. That was ****ing insanely awesome. Wish I could have gone. Glad Moddy did get to go.

Methinks he wasn't paying attention. The Caps had been on a drunk since Bettman handed them the Cup. Not like they were going to clean up their act for him.

Hell, Warriors players were squirting fans with bubbly during their parade today. And fans sharing drinks and food with players as well.

For what it is worth, I still content that Alex Ovechkin is too ugly to have won a Stanley Cup.

I don't regret not going, mostly because it would have ruined a magazine deadline and I might have gotten in some trouble for that.

I absolutely would have regretted it had I not watched the whole thing today. Clips wouldn't have been enough. Was awesome to watch the whole thing unfold in real time. Major props to NBC Sports Washington for putting the whole thing on the air and streaming it. Felt like I was there, even though I wasn't.

I don’t care how butt ugly or beautiful any of them are - most of them are unrecognizable out of uniform.

Only thing that matters - Washington has THE CUP!!!
